Our Story
Mike and Carolynn met in college in San Luis Obispo in 1971. They became friends and soon discovered a mutual love and appreciation for music. Mike was already and established musician and in 1974 Carolynn officially joined him as a music partner and together they formed the Mission City Band. After college the band went their separate ways, but Mike and Carolynn reunited as a duo in 1976 to form the Mike and Carolynn Band.

The Mike and Carolynn Band specializes in smooth, well blended vocals and tasteful musicianship. Mike is an accomplished lead guitar player, lead and background vocalist. Carolynn plays bass guitar and sings lead and background vocals. The electric drummer provides percussive variety to this acoustic duo.

The band specializes in providing an atmosphere that appeals to a diverse audience with an mixture of familiar classic light rock, R&B, country, blues, jazz and folk selections.
